Biden replacement? Whitmer denies 'Draft Gretch' campaign, but her star is rising

Gretchen Whitmer, who admitted to a "Draft Gretch" shadow movement, may replace President Biden after last week's presidential debate.

Experts claimed her November chances against former President Donald Trump were bleak. Ford told Fox News Digital, "She's doing the right thing in denying she's interested because she can't appear disloyal."

Political acquaintance named this the Cinderella ball. While everyone knows time is running out and everything changes at midnight, the prince is handsome and the champagne is flowing, so you dance.

Smart individuals watch the door and dance at midnight to establish themselves." In recent weeks, Whitmer, who was re-elected by a double-digit margin in 2022, has hinted at a presidential candidacy and led donor preference.

Politico said that Whitmer told Democratic Party leaders "Draft Gretch" was "total bulls---." She defended Biden's Michigan efforts.

"I am proud to support Joe Biden as our nominee and I am behind him 100% in the fight to defeat Donald Trump," said he. "Not only do I believe Joe can win Michigan, I know he can because he’s got the receipts."

Because few Americans know Whitmer, she struggles. "She's a popular governor in a swing state," said Bipartisan Policy Center senior fellow Troy: "So, she's got a lot of positive qualities.

Since creating the state's first LGBTQ+ Commission last year, Whitmer has supported pro-LGBTQ+ legislation and been criticized for her "heavy-handed" COVID-19 regulations.

She repealed and incorporated abortion bans into the state constitution. "I think the biggest weakness is not any of the weaknesses we know but what we don't know," wrote.

Next week's Whitmer's "True Gretch," may change this. Harris is pivotal in the campaign, a reversal for a vice president many opponents fear could cost Democrats in November.
