Cash Dash: Trump tops Biden in fundraising battle the past three month

Former President Trump's campaign says it outraised Biden in three months and has more money. Biden and the DNC raised $264 million in the April–June second quarter of 2024, while Trump and the RNC raised $331 million.  

June campaign funds for the former president were $284.9 million, compared to Biden's $240 million. Biden raised $127 million in June, topping Trump's $111.8.  

President Trump's campaign finances rise daily and monthly. Trump co-campaign managers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said winning this quarter gave us cash and a higher Biden burn rate without results.  

The president's administration gave Trump and Biden campaign funding documents to counter last week's scathing first debate topic.  

Biden had a busy June fundraising in Los Angeles with Obama, Clooney, Roberts, and Kimmel. Campaign raised $30 million, a Democratic Party record.   

Days later, Biden, Bill, and Hillary Clinton raised $8 million at former Gov. Terry McAuliffe's Northern Virginia home.   

The campaign raised $33 million from Thursday to Saturday, the first presidential debate, and two days later, boosting June fundraising.
