Grilled Salmon With Garlic And Herbs Recipe

Grilled fish with a tasty marinade is golden brown. An quick dinner that gets fantastic reviews! Bake, grilled, or pan-sear this fish.  

– 6 salmon fillets 4-6 ounces each – 5 tablespoons olive oil – 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar – 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce – 1 teaspoon lemon zest – 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard – 1 tablespoon parsley leaves chopped – 2 teaspoons thyme leaves chopped – 3/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon pepper – 1 teaspoon minced garlic


In a bowl, mix olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Combine with whisk.  


Step 1

Store 1 tablespoon of marinade in the fridge. Put garlic in the basin. Place salmon in marinade bowl. Spread marinade on salmon and cover bowl.  

Step 2

Marinate for 1–8 hours in the fridge. Remove the salmon from the marinade and remove any herbs or garlic that could burn on the grill.

Step 3

Warm an outdoor barbecue or indoor grill pan on medium high.  Oil your outside barbecue grates liberally with vegetable oil.  

Step 4

Add salmon fillets and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until opaque. Before serving, brush salmon fillets with remaining marinade.
