Simple ways to relieve nose congestion

Over-the-counter decongestants and antihistamines can temporarily relieve nasal congestion. Please follow the packaging instructions and consult a doctor if you have any health issues.

Over-the-Counter Remedies:

If you drink a lot of water, the mucus in your nose will be thinner, which will make it easier to clear out and lessen congestion.

Stay Hydrated:

Keeping your head up when sleeping prevents mucus from collecting in your sinuses, reducing nasal congestion. Extra pillows or a slightly raised bedhead can help.

Elevate Your Head:

Putting a warm compress on your lungs can help relieve pressure and clear up stuffiness. In the microwave, you can warm up a cloth or use a warm, wet towel.

Warm Compress:

When you use a saline spray or nasal rinse, it can help clean out mucus and allergens from your nose, which can help clear things up.

Saline Nasal Spray:

Adding water to the air can help clear up stuffy noses, especially in dry places. Having a fan in your bedroom while you sleep can be very helpful.

Use a Humidifier:

The steam from a bowl of hot water helps release mucus and reduce congestion. A few drops of eucalyptus or peppermint oil might boost it.
